OULUXE External Wall System
A coordinated panelised external wall assembly — frame, insulation, sheathing, cladding and openings — reviewed for each project's building class, site and engineering before acceptance. Not a universal certified wall and not a generic cladding product.
The OULUXE External Wall System moves more of the external wall into a controlled factory setting. Each panel is fabricated to approved shop drawings, identified with a panel ID, inspected before dispatch and protected for transport.
What a wall panel can include
- Light gauge steel frame detailed to the project's structural design
- Cavity insulation as specified
- Sheathing and weather membrane
- External cladding, prefinished or ready for finishing
- Windows and glazed doors coordinated with the panel, where specified
A façade is only as good as its junctions
- Panel to slab: anchor design, installation tolerance, base flashing, drainage and temporary support
- Panel to panel: joint geometry, differential movement, seals, weather paths and performance continuity
- Panel to roof: load paths, roof junction, thermal movement, roof drainage and access
- Lifting and handling: lifting points, temporary support and site sequence are defined before dispatch
Evidence first
There is no assumed fire resistance level and no universal NCC approval. Suitability evidence — wind, water, fire, fixings, openings, joints and site installation — is specific to the configuration, building class and region, and is reviewed with the project engineer before acceptance.
Confirm against project requirements
These depend on your site, design and engineering. We confirm each one before quoting; nothing here is a general approval or certification.
- NCC building class and number of storeys
- Wind region, terrain category and bushfire attack level (BAL)
- Fire performance and combustibility requirements for the building
- Water management and weatherproofing at panel joints and openings
- Slab anchors, installation tolerances and temporary support
- Structural design and certification by the project engineer
