Overview
LGS floor joist systems provide lightweight, dimensionally stable floor framing for residential, multi-level and modular projects. Joists are manufactured from cold-formed galvanised steel and can include pre-punched service holes for plumbing and electrical runs.
Spans, spacing and member sizes are set by the project's structural design. Compared with timber floor framing, steel joists avoid shrinkage-related movement, which can reduce squeaks and floor cracking caused by drying.
