Overview
Light gauge steel (LGS) wall frames are a precision-manufactured alternative to timber framing for residential, multi-dwelling, commercial and modular projects. Frames are roll-formed from cold-formed galvanised steel to approved shop drawings and supplied as labelled panels.
Steel framing does not shrink or warp with moisture changes in the way timber can, which helps keep walls straight and openings true. Frames can be detailed for load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls to the project engineer's design.
